HRM: more than 25 years experience in waste processing

1983
Kees Hoeksema starts with processing and manual sorting of waste.

1988
Hoeksema buys industrial premises because of growth of the company. It needs more containers and skips, more lorries, and more employees. HRM adapts its sorting policy to changing conditions to be more efficient in processing and transporting rubbish. HRM purchases a mechanical crusher.

1999
The envirotrailer appears on the streets in the north of Holland. The trailer separately collects paper, cardboard, bottles, peelings etc. Later on the service is expanded by the envirobag especially for plastic matter.

2000
HRM moves to Grootegast where it runs rubbish dump "De Tweemat". A bigger and more sophisticated crusher is needed, which means jobs for ten employees.

2005
Ronald Hoeksema (Kees`son) opens second hand shop "De Cirkel". Ronald runs his shop in co-operation with foundation "De Zijlen", a foundation for mentally or physically disabled people. Customers can buy all kinds of recycled products from used clothes to stamps, just name it. Go for further information to www.hrmdecirkel.nl.

2009
Martijn Hoeksema (Kees`son) starts his own transportation company on May 1st.

At the moment HRM supplies jobs for about 40 employees. The staff take care of collecting, sorting and processing household and industrial waste in an environment friendly way. Their motto is that 80 % of our waste deserves a second chance. According to the Hoeksema family HRM will continue to grow and florish.
